Escape your routine and go on a safari trip in Ghana’s magnificent environment! Take a closer look at the beautiful animals on this safari with Adventure Seekers Safari & Tours in Mole National Park, Ghana’s largest wildlife refuge. Additionally, you will be given guidance as you tour Damongo during your homestay experience in Damongo the savannah regional capital. This is the ideal chance to discover the best of Ghana and its native culture! This homestay experience package gives you a cheaper option to stay around the mole park, as it is about 15 minutes’ drive from the homestay to the park.
DAY 1. Accra – Tamale (by Air) – Damongo (125km/3hrs)
Catch up with a 6am flight (Passion Air) from Kotoka International Airport for a domestic flight to Tamale. On arrival at 7am at the tamale airport, you’ll be met by a local representative from Adventure Seekers Safari & Tours for a transfer to the Mole National Park, home to 93 species of mammals, including herds of elephant, buck and a wide range of bird life (approximately 300 species). Then make a stop by in Damongo to have lunch and experience a Hiking tour of the Jakpa mountains & cave in Damongo. Then Proceed to the park to Check-in at your homestay in Damongo. Then relax and head to the mole national park to experience a Game Drive around 3:30pm-5:30pm, then back to the homestay to catch up with dinner at 7pm. (End of day tour). Overnight stay at Homestay Damongo.
DAY 2.
leave the homestay to head to mole national park to Experience a morning Walking safari which starts around 7am- 9am.breakfast immediately after the morning Drive. Then start a community tour around 10:30am which consist of a tour of the larabanga Mosque and the mystic stone, then proceed to the mognori eco village for a canoe safari, Village Walk and a shea butter processing lesson, then have lunch at the mognori eco village. Then head back to your homestay to relax and watch an African movie with host family, then have dinner at 5:30pm, (End of day tour) Overnight stay at Homestay Damongo
DAY 3.
Breakfast is open around 6am-9am, then relax and Check-out from your homestay around 11:30am for a drop off in the tamale airport to catch up with a 5:30pm flight passion air back to Accra (End of tour)
